Automatic will allow the guns to fire with pressing a single button while manual is a bit harder and has three buttons up/middle/down. There are two options for gunners automatic and manual. When the guns go online it’s hard not to fire randomly, but this could decrease your score at the end. Gunners need to shoot at First Order ships, fire torpedoes and shoot a harpoon (both gunners and engineers could be asked to harpoon) at the train. When you see the train speeding ahead of you get ready for Hondo Ohnaka’s order to press the harpoon button. The layout for left and right is about the same. You can use one hand for each thing you need to press. It should not matter if you are right or left handed but you may want to use the arm closest to the panel to press the lighted buttons in order to see out the cockpit windows better. Tip: This goes for all positions, when you sit down and buckle up, glance at the instrument panel and get familiar with the layout. When they do, press them as quickly as you can. There are a few key buttons and switches that flash. The engineer is tasked with fixing the ship from the beating it takes knocking into spires and taking fire as well as launching a harpoon to catch the speeding train. Remember, each seat is graded on performance and it all adds up in the end. The tab will have some basic instructions but here’s a breakdown of each position from back to front.
